The COVID Crisis has given us some opportunities. Online conferences have vastly increased the ability of our international organisations to communicate on a global level and for attendees to participate on a global level too.<\/p>\n

We have seen a rapid rise in scientific interest in bee products as medicines with clinical work being undertaken in a number of countries. Not having to arrange venues, hotels, and flights etc has meant we can also respond quickly and effectively to new and changing situations.<\/p>\n

We were expecting 2020 to be the year of Apitherapy\u2026<\/strong><\/h5>\r\nThe main theme of the TCM 2020 Congress<\/a><\/strong>, which was going to be held under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency and with the technical sponsorship of the World Health Organization, and expected to have a participation of approximately 3000 people, would be \u201cApitherapy\u201d\u2026\r\n\r\nSince the Presidency of the International Apitherapy Federation (IFA) has passed to our country, we were going to host the International Apitherapy Congress\u2026 The International Propolis Congress, organized by the International Propolis Research Group (IPRG), was to be held in our country in 2020. ThenWe were going to hold our 2nd National Apitherapy Congress<\/a><\/strong>\u2026\r\n\r\nCovid-19 arrived and all these plans were canceled\u2026\r\n\r\n\u00a0\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

Never mind\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nAs a result of consultation with both our local and foreign colleagues, the idea of holding an event in the digital environment came to the agenda and gradually grew. As a result, the idea of a large-scale event, where national and international scientific apitherapy events will be held simultaneously with a big International Api-Expo<\/a><\/strong> that will last 9 days was formed. More precisely, we decided to organize a big event where different congresses about apitherapy will be held online one after another. In fact, we wanted a program that would continue day and night, taking into account the difficulty of participation of people in different parts of the world at the same time.
